It’s easy to listen to all the chatter and chaos in our world. Easy to go negative.
On average, over 4,000 negative messages hit us every day. It is impossible to maintain strong faith without fully trusting God's Word – and making it part of our mindset.
Getting a reset on our mindset is a big part of Lions Roar.
A friend asked me yesterday how to maintain peace in the midst of all the angst about declining manhood. Finding hope despite the negative reports that pour out in innumerable sociological studies. How to go positive amid the swirling spiritual and cultural battles around us.
Living with resilience, peace and maintaining hope comes from trusting God.
Believing what the Holy Spirit directed Paul to write about Jesus' bride in Ephesians chapter 5. Putting our faith in the promise Peter recorded in Acts chapter 2 about the last days.
Jesus said this about you and me – His Bride, the Church.
"So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of the water with the Word, That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless]." (Eph 5:26/27 AMP)
THE CHURCH FINISHES STRONG! THE WILL OF GOD PREVAILS!
The return of Christ is not a rescue mission to catch His bride as she tumbles over the abyss of total defeat and annihilation. It’s the opposite – Jesus returns for a triumphant, victorious Church.
How does this happen?
Here’s what Peter wrote and a declaration I refer to often:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams." Acts 2:17
MY BROTHER, WE WILL FINISH STRONG!
There is not one man beyond the reach of grace. Not one nation is beyond the hand of Almighty God. Renewal and redemption are the inheritance of God's people. This is the promise of Jesus. So keep moving in faith. Do the work of the Kingdom.
Don’t stress –instead, let’s stress the enemy!
